The Dallas Mammoth is based on a mammoth found while building I35 Highway in Dallas. The bronze is installed in front of the Natural History Museum in Fair Park. A wonderful Art Deco style museum which closed shortly after the Perot Museum of Nature and Science opened in 2014.
