The Unsolved Murder of Florence Brown – On Monday morning, July 28, 1912 Florence, a 34 year old stenographer at Robinson & Styron Real Estate was catching up on paperwork when her co-worked Mr. Cuthbertson left the office to deliver documents to the courthouse. He returned to his desk in about 40 minutes later. Mr. Swor arrived shortly after and walked back to the restroom. There he found Florence laying dead in a pool of blood. Her neck cut to the bone. Her arms and hands slashed multiple times. Her right arm had bite marks. The Detective speculated that due to the amount of blood the murder had removed his/her clothes in the bathroom before attacking Miss. Brown, and then washed up in the sink, dressed and walked out the front door unnoticed. Despite making national headlines no suspects or motives were found for her killing. 110 N. Field St. Dallas, TX.
