A Graveyard for Erring Girls and Babies - The Berachah Industrial Home for the Redemption of Erring Girls followed standard medical practices in the delivery and care of babies and their mothers, The fatality rate at the Home was due in part to the medical limitations of the time and epidemics such as measles and influenza.

All of the original buildings on the estate are gone. At the back of what is now called Doug Russell Park is an area fenced off. Inside the chain link gate are graves, a few standing stones with names and dates, but most of the graves if marked at all, have only small cement slabs that simply say “Boy” “Girl” “Infant”.
