Kitchen Crockery Shelves  - Susan’s kitchen is elevated from the rest of the house by a 6 inch step. The kitchen contains probably no more than three matching plates among all the stacked crockery. The coffee cups are all singles and mostly of unusual craftsmanship. The wine glasses range in style from clunky handblown Mexican glass to fine cut chipped crystal. The pots and pans, and wooden spoons are all heavily used. Snuggled in with the stacks of ceramic platters and vintage bowls, on top of the fridge and the microwave are curiously made critters: chickens, cows, owls, lizards, an armadillo, and a few friendly folk wearing stripped pants.
